APPLICABLE FOR EVERY 40,000 KILOMETER MAINTENANCE

  • Replace engine coolant

  • Change automatic transmission fluid (including transfer and replace automatic transmission internal and external filter)

  • Change brake / clutch fluid and power steering fluid.

RECOMMENDED BETWEEN 60,000 KMS AND 80,000 KMS

  • Replace Timing Belt set ( T/Belt, Balancer Belts, Tensioner Bearings and oil seals ), except vehicles with Timing Chains

RECOMMENDED EVERY 20,000 KILOMETERS

  • Clean fuel injectors for petrol powered vehicles

  • Change spark plugs for petrol powered vehicles

  • Replace Air Filter

  • Replace Fuel Filter

A.  Operation After Engine is Warmed up  

1.    Change engine oil and oil filter                 

2.    Check / Adjust valve clearance ( except for vehicles with auto-lash adjusters )

3.    Check / Adjust basic ignition timing ( petrol powered vehicles )

4.    Check / Adjust basic idling speed and CO concentration ( petrol powered vehicles )

5.    Check crankcase ventilation hoses ( petrol powered vehicles )

6.    Check cooling system for leaks

7.    Check fuel system clamp for looseness and damages

 

B.  Operations inside the engine compartment

8.    Check V-belts for cracks, fraying wear and adjust tension

9.    Check condition of distributor contact points

10.  Check condition of distributor spark advancer

11.  Check condition of distributor cap, rotor and condenser

12.  Check ignition cables for damages

13.  Check vacuum pump oil hoses for damages ( diesel powered vehicles )

14.  Check condition and clean spark plugs ( petrol powered vehicles )

15.  Check air cleaner element for clogging and damages.

16.  Check fluid level in automatic transmission ( including transfer )

17.  Check engine coolant condition and level

18.  Check brake / clutch fluid and power steering fluid level and condition.

19.  Check / adjust brake pedal & clutch pedal for free play.

20.  Check / top up battery electrolyte level and terminals for loose connections . corrosion; check batter clamp.

21.  Check suspension system for looseness and damages.

22.  Check suspension arm ball joints for play and dust covers for damages

23.  Check drive shaft boots for damages.

24.  Check steering linkage for damages & loose connections ( including seals & boots )

25.  Check gear oil level in manual transmission ( including transfer case )

26.  Check gear oil level in front & rear axles.

27.  Check exhaust pipe connection / installation for gas leakages or damages.

28.  Tighten underchassis bolts / nuts.

29.  Check . adjust parking brake stroke and play.

 

D.  Operations outside the vehicle

30.  Check brake hoses & pipes for leakages.

31.  Check fuel hoses and pipes for leakages.

32.  Check tire wear, tread depth, inflation pressure, center cap and tire valve cap

33.  Check windshield wiper nozzle and wiper blades.

 

E.  Electrical operations

34.  Check condition and fun tion of all exterior lamps

35.  Check condition and function of all interior lamps.

36.  Check instrument panel lamp.

37.  Check all instrument panel meters and gauges.

38.  Check function of all power windows, power mirrors and power door locks.

39.  Check front.rear wipers in all ranges.

40.  Check horn, observe if both high and low function equally.

A.  Operation After Engine is Warmed up  

1.    Change engine oil and oil filter                 

2.    Check / Adjust basic ignition timing ( petrol powered vehicles )

3.    Check / Adjust basic idling speed and CO concentration ( petrol powered vehicles )

4.    Perform emission test.

5.    Check crankcase ventilation hoses ( petrol powered vehicles )

6.    Check cooling system for leaks

7.    Check fuel system clamp for looseness and damages

 

B.  Operations inside the engine compartment

8.    Check V-belts for cracks, fraying wear and adjust tension

9.    Check condition of distributor contact points

10.  Check condition of distributor spark advancer

11.  Check condition of distributor cap, rotor and condenser

12.  Check ignition cables for damages

13.  Check vacuum pump oil hoses for damages ( diesel powered vehicles )

14.  Check intake air & turbocharger oil hoses for damage ( vehicles with turbo-chargers )

15.  Check condition and clean spark plugs ( petrol powered vehicles ) Replace whenever needed. Recommended every 20,000 Kilometers

16.  Check radiator hoses for damages and proper connection.

17.  Check / clean condition of throttle body.

18.  Check air cleaner element or clogging and damages.

19.  Check fluid level in automatic transmission ( including transfer ).

20.  Check brake / clutch fluid and power steering fluid level and condition.

21.  Check / adjust brake pedal & clutch pedal for free play.

22.  Check / top up battery electrolyte level and terminals for loose connections . corrosion; check batter clamp.

23.  Check / replace / refill engine coolant condition.

24.  Check suspension system for looseness and damages.

25.  Check suspension arm ball joints for play and dust covers for damages

26.  Lubricate suspension arm, steering linkages and propeller shaft with grease fitting.

27.  Check drive shaft boots for damages.

28.  Check steering linkage for damages & loose connections ( including seals & boots )

29.  Check gear oil level in manual transmission ( including transfer case )

30.  Check gear oil level in front & rear axles.

31.  Check exhaust pipe connection / installation for gas leakages or damages.

32.  Tighten underchassis bolts / nuts.

33.  Check . adjust parking brake stroke and play.

 

D.  Operations outside the vehicle

34.  Rotate tires

35.  Check brake hoses & pipes for leakages.

36.  Check and clean brake pads, shoe linings, discs, for wear, break and drums for wear and tear.

37.  Check fuel hoses and pipes for leakages.

38.  Check tire wear, tread depth, inflation pressure, center cap and tire valve cap

39.  Check windshield wiper nozzle and wiper blades.

 

E.  Electrical operations

40.  Check condition and function of all exterior lamps

6.    Perform emission test.

7.    Check the choke mechanism and linkage.

8.    Check crankcase ventilation hoses ( petrol powered vehicles )

9.    Check gas recirculating system ( petrol powered vehicles )

10.  Check body condition for damages (underbody coating and body paint for corrosion damages)

11.  Check cooling system for leaks

12.    Check fuel system clamp for looseness and damages

 

B.  Operations inside the engine compartment

13.  Check V-belts for cracks, fraying wear and adjust tension

14.  Check condition of distributor contact points

15.  Check condition of distributor spark advancer
